Munshaw House
Flesherton , Ontario . The village was originally called “Artemesia Corners” but renamed Flesherton after W.K. Flesher; one of the earliest residents of the area. The village has retained much of its early architecture with the downtown core manifesting the charm of yester-year. The Munshaw House is a significant feature and centrally located in the village; among other businesses, it houses a charming Bistro and Village Inn. The Heard House, Hickling House and numerous century old churches are also prominent historical sites in this community.
The village has the distinction of being the second highest point of elevation in Ontario and the area is a popular source for excellent downhill and cross-country skiing; plus canoeing, biking, and fishing. The Bruce Trail , Saugeen River , Eugenia Falls , and Beaver Valley are some of nature’s secrets surrounding the village and waiting to be discovered when you visit this unique setting.
